Jorge Chávez International Airport is the airport for the Lima metropolitan area and is located in the Constitutional Province of Callao.

LIMA

Lima (which comes from the Quechua word Limaq) is the capital of Peru. It is located on the country's central coast, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean.

NUEVO SOL

The nuevo sol has been the official currency of Peru since 1991 and is divided into 100 céntimos. Its symbol is S/ and it is managed and issued by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.

ESPAÑOL

Spanish is the official language of Peru. However, 47 native languages are spoken in the country, including Quechua and Aymara.
