MONKEY ISLAND

We will visit the curious and friendly monkeys at a rescue center called “Monkey Island” located 30km out of Iquitos city. This place is a refuge where monkeys are rescued, rehabilitated and release back into their natural habitat. Here we can find 7 species of monkeys like the howler monkey, the titi monkey, the maquisapa monkey, the lion monkey, the spider monkey and the cute woolly monkey
