NAZCA LINES
¿What does it consist of?
We will board a small plane to overfly these famous geoglyphs on Nazca and Palpa desert (approx. 560km south of Lima) which were drawn by Nazca culture and consist in hundreds of figures, since simple designs like lines until intricate zoomorphic and phytomorphic figures and geometrical shapes that appear on the desert. Since 1994, UNESCO declared these lines World Heritage. During the overflight we will see the condor, the spider, the dog, the whale, the flower, the lizard, the astronaut, the fish, the monky, etc. There are many theories about the meaning of these lines, one of them suggests that it was the biggest astronomical calendar in the world. The Nazca Lines were studied by German mathematician Maria Reiche. The overflight can be done from Pisco, Ica and Nazca.
