CARAL

We will know the most ancient city of the Americas, with its impressive organization and extension.  It has a set of monumental buildings of ritual and administrative purposes and very important architectural and technological innovations were developed. The central area of this complex has 32 public structure and many residential buildings divided in two areas: North Caral Alto and South Caral Bajo.  Note that the residential constructions were not only homes but also workshops. During excavations archaeologists found musical instruments, clay figures, Quipus, Shicaras (bags made of vegetable fiber), cotton textiles, etc. The Caral’s inabitants were also good in astronomers.
