This experience begins very early; the road is narrow and steep with rock carved stairways that ascend to the top of Huayna Picchu, where you can see some minor constructions including the front and a huge stone carved in the shape of a throne known as the Inca Chair. Huayna Picchu is known as Young Mountain and is surrounded by the Urubamba River. From the top of the mountain we can appreciate panoramic views of Machu Picchu and the surrounding mountains. The ascent and descent takes around 3 hours.
