UROS ISLANDS

We will visit an amazing set of artificial floating islands made of reed and inhabited by the Uros, descendants of one of the oldest cultures in the American continent. Local Uros people are expert fishers and hunters, they use the totora reed to build the islands, their houses, their boats and also as a nutritional local fruit. These Uros Islands are Cultural Heritage of our nation.
