It is a cemetery that contains pre-hispanic mummified human remains. In ancient Peru, they believed in afterlife after death. The bodies are so remarkably preserved despite its age, and in many of them you can still see hair remains and even some skin. This preservations has been possible in part thanks to the dry climate in Nazca desert. This is the only Peruvian archaeological site where you can see the mummies in their original tombs and they belong to Nazca culture.
